Mystery Member of the Week:

The Gingham Tree is operated by the Auxiliary of Good Samaritan Hospital. Located in a separate building on the southeast corner of the hospital campus, the Auxiliary donates all of its proceeds from the sale of gently used goods to the hospital.

You give us good stuff... We do great things!
Shop
Built on a strong foundation, the Gingham Tree Resale Shop has been growing since 1973.
While the shop has the appearance of a neighborhood home, it is over-flowing with bargains inside.
Each week a different selection of merchandise is on sale at half price.
Many Gingham Tree customers stop by several times a week because hundreds of “new” used items are displayed daily. Visit the shop and you too will be helping us grow!
Volunteer
The Gingham Tree Resale Shop is staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers. Help is always needed to sort, price, test and display our merchandise.
If you would like to contribute a few hours each week, call Volunteer Services at 630.275.1181 for more information.
Gingham Tree Fashion Show
Would your organization enjoy a Gingham Tree Fashion Show? Take a stroll through the decades with our vintage fashion show with a very entertaining program!
If you would like more information about the Gingham Tree Resale Shop, please call 630.275.4438.

Who Are You?

Mystery Member of the Week:

Orangetheory Fitness - Downers Grove/Westmont

Base. Push. All Out. Fitness, meet science. The idea of Orangetheory is this: a 60-minute workout designed to push you into the Orange Zone. This creates "Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption," or EPOC. It's what burns calories after your workout and gives you noticeable, lasting results with Orangetheory Fitness.

The physiological theory behind the Orangetheory workout is known as “Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption,” or EPOC. By providing you with a heart-rate monitor and POD, we can monitor your 5-zone interval training sessions that we call the Orange 60. During the 60-minute workout, you will perform multiple intervals designed to produce 12 to 20 minutes of training at 84% or higher of your maximum heart rate, which translates to Zones 4/5. This program design produces workout "afterburn" effect, which is an increased metabolic rate for 24 to 36 hours after the workout. When combining the amazing workout with EPOC, our clients burn an average of 500 to 1000 calories.

The Orangetheory workout will produce increased muscle Endurance, Strength and Power and if desired, tremendous weight loss. With energetic music, a talented group of fitness coaches and a high-energy studio, you have the recipe for a workout that produces BIG and LASTING results..
