Welcome to the first Director’s Column in the 360 on 630 newsletter. I’m honored to have this chance to share my thoughts on Chamber630.

I went to work at Yonan Carpet One 2-1/2 years ago and almost immediately became active in with the Chamber. For the last 1-1/2 years I have been privileged to sit on our Board of Directors. In that time I have learned some things you need to know.

First, we are very lucky to have the best Chamber Staff in the business. Laura, Becky, Ann, Melanie, Annie and Rick are true professionals, and are totally dedicated to keeping our Chamber the best Chamber in Illinois. Get to know them, they will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need.

Second, know that your Board is also dedicated to growing the best Chamber Of Commerce in Illinois. That means they are dedicated to helping you succeed in your business. The Board of Directors is a sizable group of highly qualified individuals representing many aspects of our community. Small family businesses, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, retail, service and governmental are but a few of the categories represented. The Board members are a wealth of resources for you to call on for assistance.
